Reality TV star Jessa Duggar has become the target of liberal feminists who are appalled the 21-year-old could compare the loss of life in the Holocaust to abortion.

The Duggars, the Christian family of “19 Kids and Counting” fame, spoke at the Values Voters Summit in D.C. over the weekend and had a chance to visit the National Holocaust Museum, Newsbusters reported.

Jessa Duggar, 21, shared her thoughts about the visit on her Instagram account, arguing that “every life is precious.”

“Millions of innocents denied the most basic and fundamental of all rights — their right to life,” she wrote Thursday.

The post drew backlash from scores of liberal feminists, including Cosmopolitan’s senior political writer Jill Filipovic, who dedicated an entire article to bashing Ms. Duggar.

“How deranged do you have to be to walk out of a Holocaust museum and immediately think, “ABORTION!”? (V. deraged),” Ms. Filipovic tweeted Monday.

“Jessa had just walked out of the Holocaust museum, and instead of absorbing the scale of that atrocity, decided to make a point about abortion rights,” she wrote in Cosmo. “That’s not just tone-deaf; it’s deranged. And it does bring to light just how extreme — and out of touch — the Duggar family values actually are. If only we didn’t reward them with a quirky reality show that whitewashes their radical views.”

Prominent conservative voices such as Dana Loesch and Michelle Malkin came out in support of Ms. Duggar, starting the hashtag #IsupportJessaDuggar.
