MARION, Iowa (AP) - Authorities in eastern Iowa say a man working under a disabled minivan on the side of the road died after the vehicle fell on him.

Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports (https://bit.ly/1pDBKgr ) that Linn County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the road, between Marion and Springville, around 8 p.m. Monday.

First responders arrived to find the minivan that had fallen on 56-year-old Jerry D. Rabe, of Blairstown. He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
