DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover police responding to a complaint about shoplifting arrested two people on drug charges after heroin was found in car.

It happened about 7:15 p.m. Friday at the Wawa on Forrest Avenue. Police called to the store about two alleged shoplifters say they saw a woman trying to hide something under the seat of her car.

Officers searched the car and say they found 43 bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Twenty-eight-year-old Jamie Hawkins and 53-year-old David Foulk were charged with drug and conspiracy offenses.
