INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana Gov. Mike Pence has appointed a new director for the state’s centralized government data system focusing on job training.

Pence says Jeffrey Hudnall will be the executive director of the Indiana Network of Knowledge. The system is designed to improve the coordination between job-training and education in the state. It relies heavily on government data collection and analysis.

Hudnall recently worked in career development at Indiana State University and in the same field before that at Arkansas Tech University. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s degree from Arkansas Tech.
