DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Two adults and four juveniles have been arrested after a fight broke out at the Davenport Central High School cafeteria.

Davenport police tell the Quad-City Times (https://bit.ly/1rpCxrY ) that 18-year-old Jamezaria Bailey struck a person several times with a chair from the cafeteria on Monday. They say the fight spilled outside before officers arrived.

Police say 47-year-old James Bailey approached the group with a metal baseball bat while officers were investigating. They say he swung the bat in the air and said his children were “jumped.”

Jamezaria Bailey was charged with felony assault and James Bailey was charged with felony going armed with intent. Police say four juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

No injuries were reported.

Online jail records didn’t indicate attorneys for Jamezaria or James Bailey.
