DANIELSVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Officials at a public high school in east Georgia are considering whether to remove or modify a monument that quotes the Bible.

Verses on the monument at Madison County High School state, “If God is for us then who can be against us?” and “I can do all things through Christ.”

WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/ZneA9b) that the monument on the edge of Red Raider Field was donated with private money and intended to inspire the football team.

The superintendent of Madison County schools said in a statement to WSB that all options are being considered, including removing the monument or modifying it in some way.
