PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - People who want to vote in the Nov. 4 election only have a few more days to register, if they haven’t done so yet.

The secretary of state’s office is reminding people that Sunday is the deadline to register if they want to cast a ballot.

People must be 18 years of age or older on Nov. 4 may register to vote.

During the week, people may register at their local board of canvassers. Those who wait until the last minute can register at the secretary of state’s office in Providence and in locations in local communities.

All the state’s general offices are on this year’s ballot, as are the state’s two U.S. House seats and a U.S. Senate seat. Providence voters will also get to choose the next mayor.
