LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Some AAA Michigan branch locations will offer secretary of state online services in their lobbies.

Secretary of State Ruth Johnson and the Dearborn-based auto club officially launched the pilot program on Thursday.

Johnson and AAA Michigan leaders unveiled the first of the new computer stations at a branch in Detroit. AAA locations in Livonia and Grand Rapids will be the next ones to offer ExpressSOS Connect services.

The pilot project is expected to eventually expand to all of AAA Michigan’s 31 locations.

ExpressSOS Connect lets most users renew their license plate tabs, change their address, order copies of vehicle registration records and sign up to be an organ donor.
