CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Natrona County sheriff’s officials say they’re investigating an apparent murder-suicide on Casper Mountain outside Casper.

Sgt. Mike Steinberg says a 48-year-old man apparently shot a 76-year-old woman and then himself. He says their bodies were found in a car at a campground around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Sheriff’s officials tell the Casper Star-Tribune (https://bit.ly/1lMp8IL ) they believe the man planned the murder-suicide. Steinberg says deputies are interviewing people to try to find out more about what happened.

The identities of the two were being withheld pending family notification.
