WASHINGTON, Iowa (AP) - A body has been found in the fire-blackened rubble of a cabin home in southeastern Iowa.

Washington County authorities say the blaze was reported around 5:30 a.m. Thursday in Washington. Firefighters found the body after extinguishing the flames. The body was believed to be that of a male. No name has been released.

The fire cause is being investigated.
