URBANA, Ill. (AP) - Officials have arrested and charged a woman who lived with a man convicted in April of repeatedly sexually abusing three boys left in his care.

The News-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1lLAtZM ) a 37-year-old Thomasboro woman was arrested Thursday at the Champaign County Courthouse. She has been charged with permitting the sexual abuse of a child. Police say she was present for some of their abuse.

The Associated Press isn’t identifying the woman to avoid identifying the boys. The AP typically doesn’t identify victims of sexual abuse.

The Champaign County Circuit Clerk’s office says its records don’t show an attorney for her.

A 38-year-old man was convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault. He is serving a life sentence.

A prosecutor says the boys weren’t interviewed about the woman until after the man’s trial.
