NEW YORK (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a man wanted in a fatal East Harlem stabbing.

Carlos Molina was charged with murder Saturday in the death of Gerardo Madera.

Police say the 36-year-old Madera died from a stab wound to the torso in East Harlem around 5:45 a.m. Friday.

He was one of two people stabbed to death in separate incidents in the city Friday.

Police say the 56-year-old Molina also wounded a woman with Madera. She’s in stable condition with injuries to her wrist.
