ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta’s zoo is celebrating National Grandparents’ Day.

Zoo Atlanta urges an outing to the zoo for the whole family on Sunday. Free admission will be granted for up to two grandparents with the purchase of any regularly priced child or adult admission ticket. Just mention “Grandparents’ Day” to get the discount.

The zoo says it is home to several animal grandparents. They include three western lowland gorillas: 55-year-old Shamba, 53-year-old Ozzie and 51-year-old Choomba. Another zoo grandparent is 15-year-old golden lion tamarin, Spree, who recently began free-ranging with her 3-year-old grandson, Tiete.
