OGDEN, Utah (AP) - John Crockett ran for 123 yards and a touchdown to help North Dakota State beat Weber State 24-7 on Saturday night, extending the Bison’s FCS-record winning streak to 26 games.

North Dakota State (2-0) opened the season with back-to-back road wins for the first time since 1983 and improved to 5-0 all-time against Weber State (0-2).

With the game tied at 7 and North Dakota State threatening midway through the second quarter, Deon’tae Florecene picked off Carson Wentz at the 5. Two plays later Billy Green’s sack of Kyle Emmanuel forced a fumble which Carlton Littlejohn returned 3 yards for a touchdown, putting NDSU in the lead for good.

Wentz completed 13 of 22 passes for 192 yards and two interceptions.

Weber State’s Shaydon Kehano had nine receptions for 88 yards.
