JEMEZ MOUNTAINS, N.M. (AP) - A couple who live in the Jemez Mountains had their only vehicle stolen can get around again.

KOB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1ocou2v) that Joseph Fitzpatrick gave his old truck Friday to Rhonda and James Rightley for free.

The Rightleys say their car was taken while they were visiting friends near their home last week. The car also had James Rightley’s walker.

The couple says Rhonda Rightley needs a car to get to her job of cleaning homes. James Rightley needs the walker since a brain injury 10 years ago left him prone to seizures.

Fitzpatrick, a former Navy Seal, says he initially planned to sell his truck.

The couple also received a donated walker from someone else.

Rhonda Rightley, however, says she would still like to know who stole their Chevy Impala.
