BROOKLYN, Ill. (AP) - Police have identified a 44-year-old St. Louis woman who was found shot to death near several strip clubs not far from the Illinois-Missouri state line.

Illinois State Police say that a railroad worker found Natasha Miko Brown ‘s naked body lying in tall brush along a street in Brooklyn late Monday.

Lt. Dave Bivens tells the Belleville News-Democrat (https://bit.ly/1CvPaol ) that it was unclear how long she had been there. He declined to discuss whether police think Brown was killed at the crime scene, or if her body was dropped off among the weeds.

Brown was last seen in St. Louis five days before her death. Anyone with information about the fatal shooting is asked to call the Illinois State Police.
