SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - President Barack Obama will arrive in Utah on Thursday before speaking at Hill Air Force Base on Friday about the economy.

The White House announced the overnight stay on Wednesday. Details about where the president is scheduled to stay were not released.

The visit is Obama’s first to Utah as president.

Obama stopped briefly in Park City while he was a presidential candidate in 2007.

The Utah trip will also mark the 49th state that Obama has visited since becoming president.

South Dakota is the only state still awaiting a presidential trip.
