CHRISTIANA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say they’re investigating a crash that sent four family members to the hospital.

Police say the initial investigation has found that 71-year-old Ferdinando Mancini Jr. of New York fell asleep as he was driving a minivan northbound on Interstate 95 in the Christiana area. Mancini lost control of the minivan, which swerved off the road and then flipped onto its roof.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Mancini and three family members are being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
