COMANCHE, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports one person was killed and several others are injured after a pickup truck crashed into a motorcycle, causing a group of cyclists to crash near Comanche in southern Oklahoma.

Lt. John Vincent said the driver of the truck crossed the center line of U.S. 81 Saturday and collided with one motorcyclist and the other riders crashed while trying to avoid the initial collision. Vincent said there are several injuries but the precise number and the severity of the injuries were not yet available.

The OHP says the crash occurred about 11:30 a.m. and at least 10 motorcycles appear to have crashed.
