FEDERALSBURG, Md. (AP) - Maryland State police have charged five suspects in the slaying of a Caroline County man during a home invasion.
Police announced Friday that they have arrested the suspects ranging in age from 15 to 21 and charged them with killing 23-year-old Travon Farrow at his Federalsburg home in November.
One of the five was indicted Wednesday and all are now arrested and charged with first- and second-degree murder, assault, burglary and other offenses. Two juveniles are charged as adults.
Police say the group decided to rob Farrow’s home to get money or drugs. Police say Farrow was shot by one of the suspects during an altercation, while the others searched the home. He later died at a Delaware hospital.
