CLEVELAND (AP) - An 18-year-old Cleveland burglary suspect faces murder charges after police say he broke into a house with another teen who ended up being shot to death by the homeowner.

Cleveland homicide detectives have a warrant charging the man with murder. The Northeast Ohio Media Group (https://bit.ly/1bRmptN ) reported Thursday that he hadn’t been arrested yet.

The young man is sought in the March 24 death of his alleged accomplice, 19-year-old James Eason. Ohio law allows for murder charges for a death caused in the commission of another felony.

Police say Eason and the wanted man broke into a house on the city’s east side, and the homeowner returned while they were still in the house and opened fire on both of them.

The homeowner hasn’t been charged.
