CLINTON, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut pastor has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman and a teenage girl who were members of his church and threatening to have them deported if they told anyone.

Fifty-seven-year-old Francisco Moran of Clinton was charged Thursday with misdemeanor sexual assault, coercion and risk of injury to a minor. He was held on $17,500 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in court Monday.

Moran is the pastor at The Good Samaritan Church in Old Lyme. Police say he forced unwanted sexual contact on a woman and female minor on separate occasions last summer at a home in Clinton.

Moran’s response to the allegations is unknown. He is detained and it’s not clear if he has a lawyer.
