STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Penn State officials say it’ll take longer than they expected to establish a task force on the school’s fraternities and sororities.

The school said Thursday there has been considerable interest from people who want to serve on the panel.

University president Eric Barron is setting up the group in response to a police investigation into a secret Facebook site linked to a Penn State fraternity that had photos of naked and semi-nude women, some asleep or passed out.

Barron had said he hoped to set up the task force this week.

It’ll include students, alumni, faculty, administrators, local residents and national fraternity and sorority organizations.

A State College Police lieutenant says investigators plan to update the public on developments in the case through their Twitter feed.
