CHERRY VALLEY, N.Y. (AP) - State police say three people have been found dead after an early morning house fire in upstate New York.

They’re releasing few details about the blaze reported at 3:45 a.m. Thursday in the Otsego County town of Cherry Valley, 50 miles west of Albany.

Troopers say the cause of the fire and how the victims died is under investigation by fire and medical authorities. The victims were found in the home and haven’t yet been identified.
