PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police in Portland say a stolen trailer containing medical and dental equipment that a nonprofit organization uses to treat people in need has been found.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says the officers acting on a tip found it abandoned Wednesday in southeast Portland.

Simpson says most items appear to still be in the trailer but the nonprofit group, Compassion Connect, will be doing an inventory.

There have been no arrests and the case remains under investigation.

The trailer disappeared from the employee parking lot of Portland Adventist Medical Center.
