NEW YORK (AP) - New York City’s buildings department has issued a wind advisory for Brooklyn and Queens.

It’s in effect from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Forecasters say there could be sustained 30 mph winds, with gusts up to 40 mph.

The department is reminding all builders, contractors and property to owners to secure construction sites and buildings.
