A passenger search at John F. Kennedy International Airport of a 70-year-old woman turned up 4 pounds of cocaine — in her underwear.

Olive Fowler of Georgetown, Guyana, arrived in New York on April 12 when officials found her in possession of $73,000 worth of cocaine.

“This seizure is just another example of our CBP officers being ever vigilant in protecting the United States from the distribution of these illicit drugs,” said Robert E. Perez, Director of CBP’s New York Field Operations, a CBS affiliate in New York reported Monday.

Ms. Fowler was arrested and charged with federal narcotics smuggling charges, the station reported. She was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
