PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Portland police arrested a 20-year-old man accused of fatally shooting another man in February.

Sgt. Pete Simpson said Wednesday that Timothy Noe was booked into jail on a murder charge. Court records show he was also charged with menacing, disorderly conduct and unlawful use of a weapon.

Noe is accused of killing Esteban Del Cid of Tualatin. Del Cid’s friends tried to take him to a nearby hospital after the shooting in North Portland, but got lost and called 9-1-1.

Paramedics eventually got Del Cid to the hospital, but he did not survive.

Court records state that Noe has been homeless for two years and left school after the 11th grade.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 30.
