ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with the sexual assault of an Anchorage woman, who also was kidnapped along with her children.

Police say Dustin Badillo was taken into custody Thursday evening following a burglary call about an armed man inside a home who fled after being discovered.

Police received a call shortly afterward about a suspicious man near an elementary school.

Police say police pursued the man, who was identified as Badillo. He was taken into custody on charges of kidnapping, robbery, sexual assault and burglarly.

Badillo is accused of sexually assaulting the woman and kidnapping her two children at gunpoint Wednesday morning before dropping them off after withdrawing money from the woman’s accounts.

Online court records don’t show an attorney listed for Badillo, who is being held without bail.
