LOOSE CREEK, Mo. (AP) - Two Dutch street artists have given fresh life to a mid-Missouri barn.

The Columbia Missourian (https://bit.ly/1HNNYkU ) reports that Honeysuckle White chose turkey and cattle farmer Glenn Robertson for its “A More Beautiful Barn” project. Robertson’s farm off U.S. 50 near Loose Creek now features a mural of a child petting an enormous turkey.

The process began around two months ago when a brochure was dropped off at the farm.

The artists creating the mural were Telmo Pieper and Miel Krutzmann. They arrived last week and were joined by a pair of producers from London and Australian filmmaker Selina Miles.

Robertson stayed away from the barn during much of the work. Until the unveiling on Thursday evening, he had seen only a small portion of the mural. Robertson called it “wonderful.”
