STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Former Oklahoma State wrestler Tyler Caldwell has won the gold medal at 74 kilograms in the Pan American Championships and was named the event’s Outstanding Wrestler.

Fellow former Cowboy Chris Perry won the silver medal at 86 kilograms.

Caldwell went 4-0 during the tournament and shut out each of his opponents, winning his first two matches 11-0 and winning both the semifinals and finals by 9-0 scores.

Perry went 3-1 during the tournament, losing in the finals.
