CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) - The Chapel Hill Public Library is collecting items that tell the story of the town.

A food truck rodeo and memorabilia roundup is being held late Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Seymour Center in town.

The library is seeking objects that tell the story of Chapel Hill’s past and present. Those items could be such things as grade school report cards, a grandfather’s UNC diploma, photos, recipes or perhaps ticket stubs from events in town.

Artist Erik Carlson is creating as a permanent installation at the library later this year to tell the story of Chapel Hill.
