MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Prosecutors say a 19-year-old man has been charged in an attack on a Kroger supermarket employee in the store’s parking lot in Memphis.

Shelby County’s district attorney’s office says Raheem Richardson has been indicted on charges of aggravated riot and acting in concert with aggravated assault.

Police said a group of teenagers first attacked a customer as he left his car to enter the store on Sept. 6.

Authorities say a 17-year-old store employee was punched, kicked and knocked unconscious as he gathered shopping carts in the parking lot.

The fight was caught on video. Authorities say Richardson was identified by witnesses as one of the store employee’s attackers.

Charges against 10 other teens were handled in juvenile court. Online court records do not show if Richardson has a lawyer.
