CINCINNATI (AP) - Crews say it will take at least a day to remove train cars that derailed from an elevated track in Cincinnati.

Authorities say the CSX train derailed around 11 p.m. Thursday from an elevated track in the Queensgate neighborhood in Cincinnati. Officials say at least six train cars were derailed.

Surrounding streets were closed off Friday morning. Police say cranes will be needed to remove the train cars and estimate it will take at least 24 hours to clear the track.

Officials say it’s unclear what caused the train to derail.

No injuries were reported. Police say the derailed cars didn’t contain any hazardous materials.
