SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Stocks of grain crops in South Dakota compared to a year ago are mixed.

The federal Agriculture Department says in its latest report that soybean stocks on March 1 were up 12 percent over the year, while corn stocks were down slightly.

Oat stocks were up 32 percent and wheat stocks up 34 percent. At the same time, barley stocks were down 24 percent and sorghum stocks were down 80 percent.
