PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - Two Prescott men have been arrested after they fled a smoke shop with stolen items and one forced a teenager to hide him.

Prescott Valley police said Wednesday that 28-year-old Matthew David Moore and 20-year-old Matthew Lopez were booked into Yavapai County jail on multiple drug-related charges.

Moore also faces one count each of kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, trespassing and burglary.

Authorities say both men and a woman are accused of stealing from X-Hale smoke shop and then escaping in a vehicle.

Police say they threw 14 grams of heroin and miscellaneous pills out the window during their escape.

Police located the vehicle a short time later and detained Lopez and the female suspect.

Moore was found in a home with a 14-year-old boy, who told police he didn’t know him.
