CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire’s attorney general says his office and state and local police are investigating the death of a 61-year-old woman, but is not calling the case a homicide at this time.

Attorney General Joseph Foster said Merrimack police were dispatched to Back River Road residence at about 6:20 Thursday morning after receiving a 911 call.

They found 61-year-old Darlene Lawrence dead at the residence.

Foster says an autopsy is scheduled for Friday and the circumstances of her death remain under investigation.

He said there is no information to indicate the public is in any danger.
