HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) - A judge has dismissed a lawsuit seeking information on the decision to close New Jersey’s Izod Center.

State Sen. Loretta Weinberg went to court after she received heavily redacted documents from the state Sports and Exposition Authority.

The judge sided with the agency, which argued Weinberg’s requests for information were too broad.

In a statement, Weinberg says she’ll follow the judge’s recommendation that she meet with agency officials to try to resolve her inquiry.

The Izod Center closed on March 31 after 34 years because the authority said it was losing about $700,000 a month.
