COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say two people suffered minor injuries when the small, single-engine airplane they were in crashed in Black Forest.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/k6nc7A ) the plane went into a tailspin and crashed in a steep gully as the two were practicing recovering from stalls Wednesday evening. The plane was damaged beyond repair.

Black Forest Fire/Rescue identified the pilot as 35-year-old Matthew Tanner and the passenger as 18-year-old Isaac Brumm.
