LYNDONVILLE, Vt. (AP) - Vermont state police say a 22-year-old Lyndonville man has been arrested after they say he exposed himself to an off-duty female trooper in a market parking lot and then followed her car for about 10 minutes.

Police say Nicholas Trotto is due in court May 6 on a stalking charge and charges of committing prohibited acts.

Authorities say the incident took place April 19 in the parking lot of the Whites Market Plaza. They say their investigation showed were four separate incident reports in August, 2014, of women who reported a man resembling Trotto exposing himself in that same parking lot.

It was not immediately known if Trotto has a lawyer. No telephone listing for him could be found.
