ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say a 37-year-old Anchorage man has died in a crash in Trapper Creek.

Troopers say Thomas Tuthill Jr. was found dead underneath his overturned vehicle, which slid down a steep embankment on Petersville Road. Troopers were notified shortly after noon Saturday.

Troopers say Tuthill has lost control of his vehicle on a sharp corner, and rolled down the embankment after veering into a group of trees.

According to troopers, Tuthill was not wearing his seatbelt.
