FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas head baseball coach Dave Van Horn picked up his 500th victory with the team in a comeback victory over the weekend.

The University of Arkansas baseball team posted four runs in the final two innings on Sunday afternoon to beat Auburn 6-4.

Van Horn has 1,085 victories in his 27-year career. He is the second coach in program history to reach 500 wins, joining Arkansas legend Norm DeBriyn who posted 1,161 wins in 33 seasons.

Van Horn has averaged more than 40 wins in each of his 13 seasons with the program. He has led the Razorbacks to 13 straight NCAA Regionals and three appearances in the College World Series.

Arkansas is tied for third in the SEC West with a 5-7 conference record.
