OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities say a 6-year-old Edmond boy was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike in Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoman (https://bit.ly/1GYmSWE ) reports Saxton Wadley was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday night. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a pickup driving in the wrong direction had struck the car Wadley was riding in.

The driver of the vehicle Wadley was a passenger of was taken to a hospital in critical condition. A 9-year-old passenger also was hospitalized for critical injuries.

The pickup’s driver was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
