MARSHFIELD, Vt. (AP) - A 40-year-old Vermont man faces multiple charges after an incident in which police say he was holed up in a home in Marshfield for a time and fired multiple shots.
Vermont State Police say they negotiated during Monday’s incident with Frank Sanborn and that he agreed to allow a woman who was in the home with him to leave.
They say Sanborn made several appearances outside the home with a rifle and eventually allowed himself to be taken into custody.
Police said he will face charges of reckless endangerment, simple assault and aggravated assault.
It could not immediately be determined if Sanborn had a lawyer.
