BELLA VISTA, Ark. (AP) - Police arrested two Bella Vista residents Monday suspected of killing a six-year-old boy.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette ( ) reports that the boy was brought into Mercy-Bella Vista clinic on March 29 and the authorities were alerted to the pediatric emergency. A police statement said the boy died in the emergency room.

An autopsy performed by the Arkansas Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide.

A man and woman were arrested Monday on warrants charging them with capital murder, rape and battery. No further details about the case have been released.
