BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) - Police in Bellevue, Washington, are searching for a 30-year-old man suspected of killing a woman and setting fire to an apartment last week.

Officer Seth Tyler said Monday that Song Wang is wanted for arson and murder. An arrest warrant was issued over the weekend. Police say he was last seen in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday.

The King County medical examiner’s office said Monday that the 37-year-old woman died of multiple stab wounds.

Tyler says the victim lived at the apartment where she was found.

Police say they don’t know where the suspect lived or what the connection was between the two, if any.

Police began investigating after firefighters discovered a woman’s body after extinguishing a small fire inside an apartment unit on the night of March 31.
