ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say a 27-year-old woman has been arrested on a second-degree murder charge in connection with the shooting death of a Wasilla man.

Troopers say April Cox was arrested Sunday night in Palmer in connection with the death of 76-year-old Phillip Gray, who was shot at a home office Horizon Drive in Wasilla. Gray was found dead at the home.

Cox is in custody and being held without bail. It’s unclear if she has an attorney.

Authorities were notified Sunday afternoon about the shooting.

Troopers say the state medical examiner’s office is planning an autopsy.
