MARTELLE, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have arrested four people in connection with an eastern Iowa bank robbery.

The Jones County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a call Monday from Exchange State Bank in Martelle, Iowa. They were told that two suspects entered the bank with long-necked guns, secured an undisclosed amount of money and escaped in a white Buick Lesabre without license plates.

Further investigation resulted in the arrests of 24-year-old Andrew Palmer, of Mechanicsville, and 22-year-old Shiloh Palmer on one count of first-degree robbery each. Forty-one-year-old Peter Olinger and 25-year-old Elizabeth Olinger, both of Mechanicsville, were arrested and charged with aiding and abetting to robbery.

Online court records don’t yet list attorneys for those charged to request comment on their behalf.

Authorities say the case remains under investigation.
