BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) - Nine northeastern Oklahoma residents have been arrested in a drug bust at a motel.

The Tulsa World (https://bit.ly/1c3l2bo ) reports the Bartlesville residents were arrested at Traveler’s Motel in which police confiscated amphetamines, weapons and a stolen vehicle.

Court affidavits released Monday show the arrests were made during a sting operation Thursday night. Officers had obtained search warrants to investigate suspected drug activity at the motel.

Police Capt. Jay Hastings said it’s a common practice for drug dealers to enlist local residents to sell drugs from locations like motel rooms.

A judge has set bond for the nine suspects, ranging from $25,000 to $250,000.
