CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - A Conway college professor faces 60 child pornography counts related to images police said they found on his state-owned computer.

Forty-five-year-old Noel Campbell of Plumerville is charged with distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

Campbell was suspended with pay from the University of Central Arkansas and has been banned from campus. He is free on a $15,000 bond.

Campbell’s attorney says his client plans to plead not guilty to the charges.

Authorities say they found 60 photos deemed to be child pornography on Campbell’s desktop computer.
